One-tap safety alerts with exact location
An iOS and Android safety app: press one button and your GPS position plus a custom message reaches your whole safety network by SMS. Used by schools, families, Greek life and field teams. We designed and built the apps, the backend and the admin.
The challenge
A child or worker must be able to signal for help in one tap, on any phone, without background tracking.
What we did
Flutter apps whose home screen is the button. Custom alert templates, unlimited contacts, on-demand GPS and an SMS gateway so alerts arrive as plain texts with a map link. A Node.js backend and admin run org codes and co-branded editions on one build, with subscriptions through the app stores.
Stack: Flutter, Node.js, SMS gateway, GPS / location services, In-app subscriptions
